The Bible teaches it is God who adds members to "His body," that is, the church. Perhaps the Lord is calling you to join our local fellowship. It would be our privilege to have you join with us in serving the Lord here.

Church membership entitles a person to be fully involved in the ministries and affairs of the church. God has given every believer spiritual gifts to be used to minister to the body and to the world, and those gifts, according to the Bible, are to be used in the context of a local church.

We ask that your decision to join the church be made public by coming forward and sharing your desire with our Pastor. An opportunity to do this is offered at the conclusion of each worship service during a time called "the invitation." Or, please call our church office and make an appointment to speak with our pastor and he will help you through the process (257-3112).

We invite you to come and join by one of the following ways:

1) PUBLICLY PROFESSING YOUR FAITH IN CHRIST - If you know you have trusted your life to Jesus Christ and now belong to Him, but have not been baptized by immersion, you may join our church by presenting yourself for baptism as a prerequisite for church membership. When you come forward, share your desire with our Pastor, and he will counsel with you and set a date with you for your baptism. Your membership process will be completed by the church body at the next regularly scheduled business meeting.
2) PROMISE OF A CHURCH LETTER FROM ANOTHER BAPTIST CHURCH - We would be very happy to receive you by a promise of a letter of recommendation from another church of "like faith and order." If a letter of recommendation is not available, the church would gladly consider receiving you by statement.
3) INFORMING US OF YOUR DESIRE TO COME FROM ANOTHER DENOMINATION - The Pastor would be pleased to counsel with you regarding your desire to come from another denomination. Feel free to come forward during the invitation and share this, or call the Pastor (257-3112) for a personal appointment.
